It is right around the corner, it seems. Pretty soon the colors are going to be changing. It definitely feels Fallish in our office. I have been freezing! I figured a nice pair of slacks would keep my legs warmer at least.
Did you know that for a brief period of time that GAP actually sold decent, lined dress pants and skirts? They did! I snagged a few of them while they were selling them, and they were at a reasonable price. They even carried “longs”, which is what I always need. Now they only carry “mom jeans”, apparently. 😉

Necklace – Refashioned…it originally was a gift from my aunt. It wasn’t exactly my style, so I bought some matching stones, took apart the original necklace and made this. The earrings I didn’t change, so those were part of the original gift.
Hair – I braided along each side, only taking hair from the bottom. When both sides were braided all the way down I knotted them together a few times, tucked the ends under, and pinned it all in place.
That top is so beautiful, perfectly draped and such a cool coral-y orange.
I hate it when I find the perfect pants, and then the retailer stops making them.
