This print is from a pre-order that opens today, where some of the prints are centered around Kubo.  It is a great movie, so I would definitely recommend seeing it.

This coordinate is mainly from the end of the movie, and is very pretty with the latterns, cranes and the background.  It is mostly a navy background with some maroon and red thrown in.

I drafted up this dress and tried to go with an Oriental flare with the cross front.  The sleeves were based on some sleeves I saw on Pinterest, and are self lined.  I ended up having to add some length, since I cut the skirt too short.  Luckily I had just enough ponte left, and I like how the navy at the bottom balances it out.  I ended up making the strip at the bottom longer on the back, since it was coming up too much from my booty.  The hem is the same length front and back now.

The yellow is a coordinate from Zenith and Quasar Fabrics that I purchased a few years back.  It doesn’t look like it is in stock anymore.  Too bad since it is a perfect match.

I made this up in brushed poly (1 yard), which is very comfortable.  This dress is like wearing pajamas.

There are some great panels of the characters from the movie.  I will likely be getting the two sisters for the girl.  She is a big fan of the movie, even as a teenager.  She watched it non-stop there for a little while.

The pre-order is open now!
