Skulls and Mesh

June 1, 2018

I am sad to say that I actually bought the girl some clothes for summer.   I have been really good the last several years, and have made most of her clothes.  Something had to give, though.  Time has not been plentiful of late to get things sewn up for her.

I did get a few things sewn with some strike off samples, though.  It is very much an impetus for me in getting items sewn up.

These capri leggings are my own pattern draft that has a cell phone pocket on either side of the legs.  I think it worked out pretty well.

The fabrics here are from Moonbeam textiles with the skulls and torn mesh.  More of a trendy fabric for the teenager.

I will post about the top soon.  It was a pattern test, and I really like how it turned out for her.

The fabric pre-order opens up on June 1 and will go until June 21.  There are some really nice prints in this one, having a black, white and red damask, too.  Go check it out!
