Some bottoms…and scrapping

January 22, 2008

I haven’t had a chance to do much this past week, since work has been so busy.  I was planning to do some sewing on Saturday, but then I actually picked up a book and got immersed in that.  It’s an old favorite that I have read probably 3 other times.  I don’t know if I will read it all, since its about 3,000 pages worth of books.

Here are a couple pair of pants I sewed up for Anya.  The corduroy pants I made at some point this past winter and the leggings I made a few weeks ago with my new serger.  Then, of course, some more of the scrapbooking I had done.

  1. Stacy- your creativity makes me look like a 2 year old, with no hand eye coordination (haha. ok, does that analogy work??). You amaze me!

  2. I know curiosity killed the cat, but what book is that you’re reading that you’ve enjoyed so many times?

  3. Thanks ladies! 🙂

Tana, I left a comment on your blog, but here it is, too. The series is by David & Leigh Eddings, called the Belgariad and the Mallorean. Many, many books go into it all but they are engaging and fun to read.

  4. I have to post again as I just read up the comments list and noticed Belgariad and the Mallorean, which I too read aeons ago and loved too. Wow, it’s been awhile what a pleasant rememberance. 🙂

  5. seriously, girl. you are putting me to shame. i didn’t even have a chance to put together a blog entry yet…to type up excuses for no craftiness..again!

they are great. i love the “curls” page. i definitely need to do one of those this week!

  6. Some great work – both the pants and the pages. I was going to post a few pics of some pages I did last week, but never got around to taking the pics. I took a nap instead. 🙂

  7. Great pants and layouts…but I was wondering about the book, too, so I’m glad you shared it. :o) I miss reading, I just don’t get the chance very often anymore.
