After I made this whimsical print, I decided I needed to make my daughter something from it. I ordered a few of the versions and this one I ordered in velvet. It doesn’t photograph well, but it does match the green of the design.
This purse design is a new one I made this fall with the pink purse, but I made this a little narrower at the top and with a curve.
I had the lining fabric, zippers and ribbon on hand and they matched very well. The deerhide leather is from a stash my grandma had in her house that we found after her passing.
The handles are the deerhide with the ribbon sewn on the folded side. I used 1″ tape to hold it together.
She was very happy with the finished result!
