I like to have dark denim stretchy pants to wear, and actually wore these to work. I do tend to over-dress at work compared to my counterparts, but sometimes if no one is really coming in I will wear something like this to work. My version of jeans.
This is a basic straight-leg pattern with a high waist with elastic on the back to help keep them up. Sometimes with stretchy denim, it doesn’t keep its stretch during the day so the elastic helps.
Then I added these side pockets on the pants just above the knees.
This was a relatively quick sew, with the pockets taking the most time.
