Nebula

July 14, 2018

I love this fabric that I purchased from Zenith and Quasar last year, and finally got it sewed up for me.

This is the star stuff panel and Carina Nebula fabric from her space round last year.  I sewed up some samples for that round, but also purchased a bunch for myself.  I love how she used the Hubble photos for these fabric prints.

The dress design is one I made up for a sample I made earlier in the spring.  I did the bottom different on that one, and this I did more of a flounce bottom.

It is super comfy!

The binding on the V-neck is a little loose at the v, so I need to redo that piece.  Not sure I’m motivated enough for that, though. 😉

I love the back on it, but I need to get some racerback bras for this style.  I don’t really have one that works right now.  I have “grown” out of most of my bras.  These pictures show me really that I need to get back in shape.  I feel so very out of shape right now.  As a former farm girl, it’s not a great feeling. I started getting back into my exercises a few weeks back, but then got out of it again right away.  I can blame the kids schedules (which don’t help), but if I were more organized with my time I could get it done. Time to get it done.
