Elephant lover

April 26, 2018

Our girl was doing a research project on elephant conservation, so I decided she needed an elephant shirt to wear during her presentation.  It was a good little presentation, and she learned the awful things that happen to the poor elephants.

She’s an animal lover for sure.  Right now she is thinking of becoming a veterinarian…despite allllll that schooling!

Here is the elephant drawing I did, and how it turned out after some Illustrator and Photoshop.

The file is included in the Google Drive folder off to the side that has my different artwork pieces.

Here it is once cut out of HTV and ironed onto her shirt.  This is a pattern hack, and seems to be a nice fit for her.  She likes them a little bit loose.

I also made the pants for her.  Nice thick fleece pants now that the weather is warming up.

Just a fun little outfit for the tween!  Mostly just fun for me, since I got to draw something with a purpose. 🙂

    1. Thank you! I think she did, but she said it wasn’t graded yet. It sounded pretty good to me when she said it. 🙂
