It is finally showing us some summer-like weather. We still need sweaters for the office, though. Oh how I hate cold summertime offices!
This was a typical Monday morning. Something easy to wear that I have worn before. Getting the kids ready seems to take most of the time in the morning. They were at a day camp, so many things needed to go along for the ride in their backpacks. My daughter has dressed less than appropriately in frilly skorts and white shirts. She comes home less than clean after a day in the woods, and covered in bug bites. I am glad I didn’t put them in the day camp all summer (as is our bank account!)…I don’t think their little dermis would be able to handle a summer’s worth of bug bites!
This seems to be a stellar year for the mosquitos with all the rain we have gotten. When I am outside taking pictures, they are looking for a meal.

Hair – Braided my fringe, then another braid underneath it. Braided a bit on the other side. Took all the braids and remaining hair together, twisted it up into a bun and then folded the bun over so it became a figure-8. Tucked the ends under and pinned in place.
