Guitars

March 18, 2014

Well, I have been sewing, but we have also been a bit busy over here.  The Boy had his 4th grade performance, whereby we all got to listen to the wildly entertaining, and often off-key, recorders.  Then we saw something more musically thrilling: Imagine Dragons!  That was a fun concert, though it was on a school night.   We were all moving slow the next day, except for our early bird.  He still got up at 6:30am, the little nut.

So, here is something I can show you…

I made this shirt for the little man a few weeks ago, but it has languished in his closet, unworn and (apparently) unloved.  I made him wear it this day, so I could get a picture of it.

Boy child:  “Oh, what does it have on it?”

Me: “A Guitar”

Boy child: “Huh, okay.”

I think he forgot about it, because he has the attention span of a gnat, unless, of course, he is attached to some kind of electronic device. 😉

That’s our boy!

So, this is just a basic knit shirt with a black iron-on vinyl guitar that I bought in the Silhouette store for $0.99 and cut on my Cameo.  Not too tough.

I have several things in the hopper right now that I am looking forward to showing.  Soonish! 🙂
