It is hard to tell, but the fabric on this skirt is SHINY. I love it. It is so comfy.
Of course, I washed it after making it and part of the waistband came undone. GRRRRRRRR! Now I need to take out my FAVORITE (NOT!) sewing implement…the seam ripper.
*sigh*
This is my “go to” skirt pattern. I made the top part double lined, so it helps keep in the tummy. Whatever help I can get in that area is appreciated. I make most of this on the serger and it goes together so quickly. I can usually make it in under an hour.
