I made this top last Friday night. It is made from FreeSpirit’s Van Gogh line of prints and I just love the colors in this fabric. I even painted my nails lavender to match one of the many colors in it. The reason for the top, was that I was going to my 20th high school class reunion the next day and I needed something new.
Those occasions usually call for something new, am I right??
I bought a pair of comfy-ish platform wedges and wore it with a pair of black trouser shorts. I didn’t get a picture of that outfit, but this is pretty close to what I wore. I am glad I got to see some of my old classmates, but not sure I will go to the 25th. Nothing like paying $100 for tap beer and the privilege of talking to people that ignored you in high school.

Belt – Gap (I think – it was a few years ago)
Hair – braided all the way around, taking hair from the bottom, and then tucking the tail in on top and pinning in place.
