This is an outfit that could definitely garner that reaction. I don’t work in a “suit office”, so wearing something like this is out of the ordinary. I got this suit from CAbi’s new fall line. I can definitely wear them as separates. The jacket will look great with a pair of jeans and the pants will be workhorses for my business wardrobe.
This is a nice modern pantsuit, which is sorely lacking from my closet. The last time I bought a suit was over 10 years ago when I worked in public accounting. You needed suits for certain clients. Now, I just have a regular office job with a business casual dress code.
I love the lining on the jacket and the tucks in the back. This line of clothes has some great details, which is something I can really appreciate as a seamstress myself. I love those little details.

Hair: Braid waves. I twisted my fringe up a little bit and pinned it underneath a layer of hair to keep it out of the way.
