I counted…I now have 21 skorts from my skort pattern. I usually make one or two new ones each summer, so they add up! I have one pair of actual shorts that fit, and I never wear them. I always wear skorts. From my original pattern, I have changed it up and done the skirt parts a bit differently (lowering the hem a bit, adding circle skirts, etc.), but basically it is the same pattern (though I have enlarged it a bit in the last few years).
Skort: Skort block with LOTR fabric from 2 different custom fabric companies
Top: knit top (I’ll do a post on it soon)
Jewelry I purchased a the ren fest and viking fest
Skort: Skort block with a custom fabric I purchased years ago from Riki Fabric (no longer selling fabric) in Green Bay Packers colors. Ponte for the shorts part underneath. The first time I wore it out, was to a Packer’s bar, so got some nice compliments.
Skort: Skort block with dark blue stretch denim fabric for the outside and black ponte on the inside shorts part. I did put a zipper up the back, which was not needed and ended up not staying up. I sewed over the top. This is something I wore whenever it was clean this summer.
Top: Made this one a few years ago from one of my fabric patterns on Modern Jersey.
Another of my fabric designs in the sport lycra fabric. This one I didn’t hem it since I have learned these fabrics are a PITA to hem. The shorts underneath are a brushed poly knit.
This is another of my designs in the sports pique fabric. The shorts underneath are a ponte.
