Skulls, skulls, skulls

March 22, 2019

I seem to have a bit of an affinity for fabrics with skulls on them. Last year Twisted Needle Textiles had the perfect round for me, too! Lots of skulls, so I purchased several different fabrics in different bases and even ordered more when they had a rerun round.

This fabric was from the first running of the round. It is a bamboo lycra. The top is my own pattern. It also fits into the 52 week sewing challenge for a woman’s pattern.

I paired it with my little jacket I made last fall.

These tops take no time to make, too. I do need to take off the armbands and redo them, though. I didn’t make them tight enough. I have a tendency to not write down measurements for bands on my patterns. I need to do better with that.

It is a fun and edgy outfit for bumming around on a Friday!
